OBITUARY
RUBY SMILEY  1922 - 2017
     Ruby SMILEY, age 94, of SeRee, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  She was 
born in Kingswood, Ky in Breckinridge County on August 16, 1922, a daughter of 
the late Samuel Ulysses NOTTINGHAM and Myrtle MOORE.  Mrs. SMILEY was a 
homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and quilting.  She was a longtime 
member of the Fairview United Methodist Church.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by:
her husband, Isaiah "Jack" SMILEY
two brothers:
Lester NOTTINGHAM
Melvin NOTTINGHAM
two sisters:
Edna ARMES
Louise CARMAN
     Mrs. SMILEY is survived by:
two sons
two daughters
7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild
     Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg 
on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
