OBITUARY
MRS. RUBY SMILEY  1905 -- 1998
     Mrs. Ruby SMILEY, age 93 of Hodgenville, Ky., in LaRue County, died on 
Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  She 
was born May 12, 1905 in Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late Samuel 
ALLGOOD and Roxie LUCAS.  She was a homemaker, and a member of the Baptist 
Church.
She is survived by:
two daughters:
Irene BURRESS of Hodgenville, Ky
Ann ESWIN of New Salisburg, Indiana
two sons:
Albert SMILEY of Pleasure Ridge Park, Ky
Ray SMILEY of Sellersburg, Indiana
4 grandchildren; several great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Friday, July 10, 1998 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
