OBITUARY  (I found on the Find-A-Grave.com website through Ancestry.com)

     Jeremiah Clinton "J.C." SMITH, age 92, of Hardinsburg, Ky died Tuesday, 
March 3, 2015, at Robley Rex Veteran's Administration Medical Center in 
Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County).  He was born in Madrid, Ky (Breckinridge 
County) on July 14, 1922, the son of the late Christopher Jeremiah SMITH and 
Iva TUCKER SMITH.  He was a World War II Army Veteran, and member of the New 
Bethel Baptist Church.  J. C. was a carpenter and farmer.  He enjoyed building 
furniture, fishing, and gardening.  He received great pleasure in sharing the 
vegetables he raised with family and friends.
     J. C. was preceded in death by:
his wife, Gladys RICHARDS SMITH
his brothers and sisters:
Coleman SMITH
Fannie Mae IRWIN
Alene WHEATLEY
Lucinda TURCOTT
Glen SMITH
Lorene WILSON
and two who died as young children.
     J. C. is survived by:
his sister
his sister-in-law
many nieces, nephews, and their families.
     Funeral Services will be held at the New Bethel Baptist Church on 
Saturday, March 7, 2015.  Burial with Military Honors will be in the church 
cemetery.
