OBITUARY  (I found on the Find-A-Grave.com website through Ancestry.com)

     Gladys RICHARDS SMITH, age 82, of Hardinsburg, Ky., died on Thursday, 
October 23, 2008 at Breckinridge Health, Inc.  She was born in Breckinridge 
County to the late Floyd and Mayme ROGERS RICHARDS.  She was a member of the 
New Bethel Baptist Church, and enjoyed sewing and gardening.  Mrs. SMITH is 
survived by:
her husband, Jeremiah "J.C." SMITH
one brother:
Herbert RICHARDS
and several nieces and nephews
     Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at the New 
Bethel Baptist Church.  Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, will handle 
the arrangements.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery.

Jeremiah Clinton SMITH and his wife Mrs. Gladys RICHARDS SMITH have a tombstone.
