OBITUARY  (I found on the Find-A-Greve website on Ancestry.com)
     Emma Marie KENNEDY SMITH, age 70, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her 
residence.  She was born in Peoria, Illinois (Peoria County) on June 18, 1944, 
a daughter of the late John William KENNEDY and Beulah Mae GOATLEY.
     She was a member of the Hardinsburg Missionary Baptist Church, a former 
restaurant cook, and affectionalely referred to by her children as a "Jack of 
all Trades", and great at all of them.  Emma enjoyed cooking, quilting, 
crocheting, reading her bible, bird watching, and helping her neighbors.  She 
was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis KENNEDY.  She is survived by:
three daughters
three sons
15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; 2 step-
great great grandchildren.
     The funeral services will be held at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, 
Hardinsburg, on Saturday, July 5, 2014, and burial will be in the New Bethel 
Cemetery.

Unknown if Emma Marie KENNEDY SMITH or her brother, Curtis KENNEDY have a tombstone.

in 
Breckinridge County, on the New Bethel-Stephensport Road, off KY Highway 259.
