OBITUARY
PAUL SMITH
HARDINSBURG -- Paul SMITH, age 75, of Sample, Ky in Breckinridge County, died 
late Wednesday, March 14, 1973, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  
Mr. SMITH was born in Breckinridge County on October 21, 1897, a son of Lum and 
Martha HARPER SMITH.  He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Sample United 
Methodist Church.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Annie SMITH
three sons:
Willis SMITH of Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Robert L. SMITH of Hardinsburg, Ky
Cager SMITH of Custer, Ky (Breckinridge County)
four daughters:
Mrs. Edna DOWELL of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Pauline ARNOLD of Sample, Ky
Mrs. Dorothy STEWART of Sample, Ky
Mrs. Virginia SMITH of Murfreesboro, Tennessee (Rutherford County)
16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren
one brother:
Robert SMITH of Stephensport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
     Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 1973 at the Sample 
United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Sample Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg after 11:00 a.m. 
today.
