Alberta Elizabeth Smith, age 73 of Nazareth,KY formerly of 

McDaniels,KY died Sunday, May 6,2007 at Nazareth Village. She was 

born in Nelson County,KY on April 3,1934, the daughter of the 

late Earvin and Christine Curtsinger Chesser. She was a homemaker 

and member of Rough River Baptist Church. She was preceded in 

death by 3 children: Paul Case, Regina Gail Murphy and Kenny 

Murphy.  1 brother - Timothy Chesser
 
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband - Murl E. Smith of 

Nazareth,KY
a son - Philip Case of Austin,TX
a daughter - Debbie Davis of White House,TX
12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
1 brother - Glen Chesser of Louisville,KY
2 sisters - Mildred Gordon and Cora B Spencer of Boston,KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9,2007 at 11AM 

CDT at Rough River Baptist Church in McDaniels,KY with Bro. Dave 

Lupex officiating. Burial will be in the Cave Spring Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8,2007 afrom 4:30 - 

8:00PM CDT at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg,KY.
