Ruby Carman Smith, age 88 of Hardinsburg, KY died Wednesdsay, 11-11-2009. She 
was born in Breckinridge County on 2-21-1921, the daughter of the late John 
and Mary Eliza West Carman. She was a homemaker and attended Alexander Chapel 
United Methodist Church and Sample United Methodist Church.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Smith
sister - Virginia Carman
brothers - Ernest, Roy, Estell and Christopher Carman
 
Ruby is survived by her sisters - Alma Flowers of Hardinsburg, KY and Alda 
Foote of Crescent Springs, KY
several nieces and nephews
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM CST at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home with Bro. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Custer 
Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 3:30 - 8:00PM CST and after 8:30AM CST 
Saturday.
 
Memorial contributions are requested to: Alexander Chapel or Sample United 
Methodist Churches.
