Obituary
RECEIVES WORD OF NEPHEWS' DEATH
Mrs. J. D. ASHCRAFT, of Cloverport received word Tuesday that her nephew, 
Tommy SMITH, died Monday night at the hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.

Obituary

Tommy SMITH, age 30, of Bowling Green (Warren County) Ky., died Monday April 
4, 1960 at the Warren County Memorial Hospital.

The son of Gordon and Judith HENDRICK SMITH of Bowling Green, and the nephew 
of Mrs. Eloise ASHCRAFT of Cloverport.  He was an active member of the First 
Baptist Church, the Bowling Green Rotary, and many civic organizations.  Mr. 
SMITH was associated in business with his father, and was Vice President of 
the Smith Air Compressor Company.  He was well-known in Cloverport, and was a 
frequent visitor in the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tice HENDRICK.  
Survivors include:
his wife, Mrs. Mary Jo SMITH
three children:
Elaine SMITH
Carolyn SMITH
Gordon SMITH
one brother:
Gilbert SMITH
Burial was in Bowling Green.
