DEATH NOTICE

D.R.M. SMITH DEAD
     One of the best known men in the Garfield (Breckinridge County) 
neighborhood, died Saturday, June 4, 1904 of senility.  Mr. SMITH was once 
prominent in the affairs of the county.  The funeral was held on Monday, June 6, 
1904.  The Reverend J. T. LEWIS of Irvington, officiated.  People from a number 
of sections of the county were in attendance.

#0344 Wales Cemetery, located south of Highway 60 between Harned and Garfield.  
Graves outside the fence believed to be used for African American burials.
