OBITUARY

     Woodrow SMOOT, age 53, of Stephensport, Ky., in Breckinridge County, was 
DOA (Dead-On-Arrival) at the Ohio County Hospital, Hartford, Ky on Thursday,  
evening, May 25, 1995.  He was the son of the late Amon SMOOT and Etta Mae 
ROSE SMOOT, and was employed by the Dunaway Timber Company in Fordsville.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Frances "Peggy" SMOOT
two sisters
one brother
     Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 27, 1995 at Wallace Funeral 
Home in Cloverport.  Burial was in the Dry Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
