Jenny Lou Armes, age 64 of Westview, KY died Monday, 9-14-2009 at Breckinridge 
Health, INC. She was born in Breckinridge County, KY on 7-20-1945. She retired 
as the owner and operator of Westview Grocery and attended Kingswood Wesleyan 
Church.
Jenny Lou loved her family, so much that in 1976 she donated a kidney to her 
sister BIllie. She enjoyed flower gardening, politics, hunting ginseng, 
hickory chickens and arrowheads and according to her family, she was very good 
at it. She always wanted to know "What are you doing?" Jenny Lou always made 
sure that the people around her laughed alot and had fun.
 
She was preceded in death by her husbands - Robert Earl Armes in 1980, Roy 
Snavely in 2000
her father - William Cellian Hardin
her brother - Jack Hardin
her sister - Wilhelmina (Billie) Meier
 
Jenny Lou is survived by 3 children - Robert Earl (Sam) Armes, Jr and Jeffrey 
Scott Armes of Westview, KY
Tammy Sue Hunter of Arkansas
her mother - Hazel Henninger Hardin of Kingswood, KY
2 grandchildren - Corey and Isabella
2 sisters - Jane Mabe and Nannette Bates of Kingswood, KY
4 brothers - Larry, George and Chuck Hardin of Westview,KY
Johnny Hardin of Hardinsburg, KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home at 1PM 
with Bro. Paul Wallace and Bro. Dan Follett officiating. Burial will be in the 
Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4-8PM CDT and after 8:30AM CDT 
Wednesday.
