David Earl SNYDER, the one year old son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy SNYDER of Guston, Ky., and Mrs. Marie Baird of Hartford, were the victims. According to officials, Mrs. Baird's husband, S.L. "Jack" Baird, was driving west in the rain when he applied his brakes, and the car turned across the road, and was unable to clear the path of an east bound car driven by Roy SNYDER. Others in the SNYDER car were Mrs. SNYDER, who was hospitalized until Tuesday at noon in Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg. Charles LeRoy, 5, and William Dempsey SNYDER, 4. Mr. SNYDER and the children were injured, but not hospitalized. Mr. Baird also received injuries. He is a partner in the State Construction & Stone Company, at Hartford, Ky. David Earl SNYDER'S funeral was held at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, Ky on Wednesday afternoon with the Reverend Clarence Brear, officiating. Burial was at Freedom. Besides his parents and brothers, he is survived by: his grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Allen MORRIS of Irvington, Ky Mr. & Mrs. Roy SNYDER of Garfield, Ky Additional Comments: #0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60. The church lies east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge. In Breckinridge County, Ky.
