Breckinridge News; Breckinridge County, Kentucky ; 4/7/1915
Miss Lottie Stearman, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stearman, died at her home
near Perrins Friday, April 2, and was buried at Good Hope April 3.  Funeral servics
were conducted by Rev. J. Mitcham.  Lottie was a devoted Christian, and the example
of her beautiful Christian life will long be remembered by her loved ones and
friends.  She professed faith in Christ at nine years of age, and had lived a
consistent life and died such a triumphant death.  Expressing her faith in the Lord
and her willingness to depart and be at rest.  To the loved ones who will so sadly
miss her we would say:  Weep not dear father, mother, and brother.  There is no
death; what seems so is transition.  This life of mortal breath is but the suburb of
the Lofe Elysian, whose portals we call Death.
