OBITUARY
     Morris Burman STEWART, a 66-year-old Hardinsburg resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Monday, May 18, 1981 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, 
Hardinsburg, after a short illness.  He was born in Breckinridge County on 
December 8, 1914, a son of the late Lefie Amos STEWART and Roxie Lee WHEELER 
STEWART.  He had operated a general store at Sample for several years before 
retirement, and was a World War veteran.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Dorothy SMITH STEWART
one daughter:
Mrs. Wilma Jean BURNETTE of Hardinsburg, Ky
one sister:
Mrs. Ellis (Della) CARMAN of Sample, Ky (Breckinridge County)
4 nieces and 3 nephews
     The funeral will be held today, Thursday, May 21, 1981, from the Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in the Sample Cemetery.
