OBITUARY
     Walter Ruel STINNETT, age 84 of Hardinsburg, died on Friday, October 24, 
2014 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  He was born in 
Breckinridge County on December 5, 1929, the son of the late Alvin STINNETT 
and Viola SIMMONS.  Walter was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and a 
Korean War Veteran.   He was a former employee of Ford Motor Company, and was 
a retired Breckinridge County Deputy Jailor.
     Walter loved his family, and spending time with them on his farm.  He was 
an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, and enjoyed watching the Yankees.
He was preceded in death by:
his wife, Mabel STINNETT on May 9, 2014
a daughter:
Janet Sue STINNETT
a grandson:
Chris HALE 
His brothers & sisters:
Tom STINNETT
Kermit STINNETT
Alvin STINNETT, Jr,
Doris STINNETT
Mildred SMITH

Mr. STINNETT is survived by:
three sons
three daughters
14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren
three brothers
two sisters
     Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Monday, 
October 27, 2014.  Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, in charge of 
arrangements, and burial with Military Honors will be in the New Bethel 
Cemetery.

Walter Ruel STINNETT, his wife, Mabel RANKIN STINNETT, and their daughter, little 
Janet Sue STINNETT all have a tombstone.
