OBITUARY
MRS. MARTIN SUTTON DIES AT COUNTRY HOME
          Special To The Herald
Hardinsburg --- Mrs. Martin SUTTON passed away at her country home on the 
Brandenburg Road, Saturday night, February 13, 1943.
     Mrs. SUTTON before her marriage was Miss Carrie SIMMONS, the daughter of 
the late Thomas and Bettie MEADOR SIMMONS. 
     Surviving besides her husband are:
six children:
Howard SUTTON
Alfred SUTTON
Thomas SUTTON
Robert SUTTON
George SUTTON
Virginia SUTTON
two sisters:
Mrs. Anne DUNN of Valley Station, Ky
Mrs. Lewis HOOK of Hardinsburg, Ky
two brothers:
Meador SIMMONS of Cloverport, Ky
George SIMMONS of Hardinsburg, Ky
     The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon in the Presbyterkan Church at 
Freedom. Interment was in the Freedom Cemetery.






Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
