OBITUARY
     Miller TATE, age 71 of McQuady, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on Friday, 
January 17, 1992, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, following a 
lengthy illness.  He was born in Breckinridge County on March 31, 1920, a son of 
the late Thurman and Letisha DOWELL TATE.  He was a farmer.
     He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Valeria SANDS TATE
six daughters
one sister
11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Sunday, January 19, 1992 at the Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
