OBITUARY
February 9 Clothing Fire Fatal to Girl 3
     Melissa Dawn TRIPLETT, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owen 
TRIPLETT of 10412 Villa Drive, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at Children's 
Hospital.
     Duputy Coroner Lloyd Roemele, said the child suffered second and third 
degree burns over 80 per cent of her body on February 9, 1973, when her clothing 
was ignited by a gas stove burner.
Besides her parents, other survivors include:
one brother
two grandmothers:
Mrs. Carrie TRIPLETT
Mrs. Frances TABOR
     The body will be at the W. G. Hardy Valley Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Highway 
from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.  She then will be taken to the Dowell Funeral Home 
in Hardinsburg, Ky for services at 3 p.m. Sunday.  Burial will be in Horsley 
Cemetery in Breckinridge County.
