OBITUARY
     Mrs. Eltie WARDRIP, age 70, of Harned, Ky in Breckinridge County, died 
October 18, 1970 at Breck-Haven Nursing Home, Hardinsburg.  She was born on 
March 15, 1900 in Breckinridge County.  The daughter of Vol & Sally EMBRY DUKE.
     Surviving Eltie are:
three sons:
Earl WARDRIP of Hawesville, Ky
Wilber WARDRIP of Stephensport, Ky
Claude WARDRIP of Hardinsburg, Ky
four daughters:
Mrs. Margaret BISHOP of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Nellie DUNN of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Grace COTTON of Madisonville, Ky
Mrs. Rhoda SHARTZER of Cecelia, Ky
four sisters:
Mrs. Maude SALMON of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Margaret RUSHER of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Mattie BISHOP of Irvington, Ky
Mrs. Mae DUKE of Irvington, Ky
three brothers:
Bill DUKE of Hardinsburg, Ky
Dee DUKE of Hardinsburg, Ky
Claude DUKE of Hardinsburg, Ky
     The funeral was held on Wednesday, October 21, 1970 from the Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the Freedom Cemetery.  Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions:  Turn North 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
