Confederate Soldier Dead at Irvington

Cloverport, Ky., Dec. 3. - Mr. Bate Washington, one of the oldest farmers of this
county, was buried at his home near Irvington, this county, this week.  Mr.
Washington was 86 years of age, and for many years was prominent in the affairs of
the county.  He was an old Confederate soldier.
