The body was brought to Harned (Breckinridge County, Ky), her former home on Friday (January 18, 1929), when the funeral was held that afternoon at the Harned Methodist Church. A Baptist minister from Munfordville, officiating, and burial in the Harned Cemetery. Mrs. WEATHERFORD would have reached her 80th birthday anniversary on April 1st. She was born and reared in Breckinridge County, 3 miles west of Hardinsburg on the Louisville Road. (Highway 60?) Her father was Robert PAYNE, and she was one of 12 children. Mrs. WEATHERFORD was preceded in death by her husband (Arch) 3 years ago. Surviving this union are: two sons: Robert WEATHERFORD of Munfordville, Ky Allie M. WEATHERFORD of Cloverport, Ky Mrs. WEATHERFORD has four brothers living, including: Minor PAYNE of Bewleyville, Ky Sim PAYNE of Irvington, Ky Mose PAYNE of Harned, Ky James PAYNE of Harned, Ky, (all 4 living in Breckinridge County) one sister: Mrs. Tisha BRUINGTON of Harned, Ky Attending the funeral were: Mr. & Mrs. Rob't WEATHERFORD and children Mr. & Mrs. Allie WEATHERFORD and daughter, Miss Virginia WEATHERFORD Mrs. WEATHERFORD was a member of the Harned Baptist Church for many years. Additional Comments: Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991: #0128 Ephesus Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, located north of junction of Fairgrounds Road and Harned-Ephesus Road, 2 miles west of Fairgrounds.
