OBITUARY

     Willis WHITWORTH, age 65, of Vine Grove, Ky in Hardin County, died on Saturday,
January 7, 
1967 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, Ky.  He was born in
Breckinridge County, 
the son of Eli and Betty WHITWORTH.  Mr. WHITWORTH is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Eliza CARMAN WHITWORTH
four sons:
Wes WHITWORTH of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Lee WHITWORTH of Richmond, Virginia (Independent City)
Willis WHITWORTH, Jr. of Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County)
Franklin WHITWORTH of Custer, Ky (Breckinridge County)
nine daughters:
Mrs. Catherine STARKEY of Marietta, Ohio (Washington County)
Mrs. Jean BOWLES of Richmond, Virginia
Mrs. Ethel NELSON of Richmond, Virginia
Mrs. Betty DRAKE of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Mrs. Sherlene BRENZEL of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Joan BROCKMAN of Franklin, Indiana (Johnson County)
Mrs. Marian STARGILL of Indianapolis, Indiana (Marion County)
Mrs. Rose Ann BUNDICK of Baltimore, Maryland (Independent City)
28 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

     The funeral was held on Tuesday, January 10, 1967 from the Custer Methodist
Church, under 
the direction of the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, with burial in the Hensley
Cemetery.
