OBITUARY

MRS. GLADYS WHITWORTH  1926-2000
     Mrs. Gladys WHITWORTH, age 74, of Hudson, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died 
on Thursday, September 21, 2000, at Norton Southwest Hospital, in Louisville.
     Born on April 1, 1926 in Breckinridge County, Mrs. WHITWORTH was the 
daughter of the late Herbert and Ada SMILEY ROBINSON.  She was retired from 
Galante Studio (Hardinsburg) as a seamstress, was a homemaker, and a member of 
the Hudson United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Harvie WHITWORTH and an infant son, Samuel Pierce WHITWORTH, 
preceded her in death.
She is survived by:
four sons
five daughters
two brothers
one sister
12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren
     Services were held on Sunday, September 24, 2000 from the Hudson United 
Methodist Church, under the direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, 
Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery.
