OBITUARY

     Guthrie WHITWORTH, age 71, of Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, on Thursday, December 10, 1998.
     Born in Breckinridge County, Mr. WHITWORTH was the son of the late Carl and 
Daisy (should be Dicie) ELLIOTT WHITWORTH.  He was retired from Civil Service, 
and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by:
His wife, Vitula WHITWORTH
two sons
one daughter
one brother:
Paul WHITWORTH of SeRee, Ky
3 grandchildren; one great grandchild
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 13, 1998 from the Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial in Hudson Cemetery.
