ALLEN WHORLEY DEAD
     The 9 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome WHORLEY who live on the Jule 
HARDIN farm, on the Hardinsburg Pike about 5 miles from this city (Cloverport), 
died Friday morning, February 26, 1904, of brain fever.
     Young Allen became ill on Saturday afternoon, February 20.  Besides his 
parents, he is survived by one half brother, Owen whorley and four sisters.  The 
funeral was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, February 27, 1904.

I did not find a tombstone for young Allen or his parents in the Breckinridge 
County Cemetery Book, volume 1, published in 1991:
