Mrs. Thelma D. Willis, 75, of Route 2, Vanzant, died at Breckinridge Memorial 
Hospital (in Hardinsburg) on Wednesday, September 12 (1983).  She was born in 
Breckinridge County June 11, 1908, a daughter of the late Albert B. and Chloe 
E. Burch Midkiff.  Surviving are:
her husband:
James W. Willis
two daughters:
Mrs. Ora Faye Hall, Fordsville
Mrs. Flora Mae Ball, Hardinsburg
two sons:
Ronald Willis, Fordsville
Rodney Willis, Vanzant
two sisters:
Mrs. Rosa Tate, Falls of Rough
Daisy Allen, Falls of Rough
six brothers:
Hurchel Midkiff, Fordsville
John Midkiff, Fordsville
Nyram Midkiff, Vanzant
Carl Midkiff, Hammond, Indiana
Tilford Midkiff, West Chester, Ohio
Russell Midkiff, Winchester, Tennessee
12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
Funeral - was Friday (September 23) from the Macedonia Baptist Church, where 
she was a member.  Rev. Freeman C. Powell, officiating.  Burial in the church 
cemetery.  Harl Funeral Home, Fordsville, in charge.
