DEATH'S DOINGS
     Mrs. G. G. WINE, whose illness of typhoid flux, was noted in our last issue, 
died at 10 o'clock Friday.  Her husband was at Mt. Sterling organizing for the 
Maccabees, when she was taken sick, and her friends wanted to write him to come 
home, but she said she would soon be well, and it would be a useless expence.  She 
grew so much worse that he was finally telegraphed for, arriving only six hours 
before her death.
     Mrs. WINE was Miss Roberta SATTERFIELD of Cloverport, and she was 40 years of 
age.  They moved here 17 years ago, and both connected themselves with the Baptist 
Church of which they had been members for some time.  Two children are left, and 
for them and the husband much sympathy is felt.
     After a short service at the grave Saturday afternoon by the Reverend A. V. 
Sizemore, the remains were interred in Buffalo Cemetery.  Miss Laura SATTERFIELD, 
a sister of the deceased, arrived in time to attend the funeral and look for the 
last time upon the dead.

(Berta was buried at Buffalo Springs Cemetery, located in Stanford,
Lincoln County, Ky when she died.  Buried by her little girl.  Her body was 
exhumed, and reburied next to her husband George at Cloverport Cemetery.)

There was another child who died in February 1889.  I am not sure if the child 
died in Stanford, Ky or Cloverport, Ky.  No tombstone found.
