OBITUARY
     Alva W. WOOD, an 83 year old Harned, Ky resident of Breckinridge County, died 
on November 5, 1982 at the Medco Center (Nursing Home) in Brandenburg, Ky in Meade 
County.  Mr. WOOD was born in Breckinridge County on August 1, 1899, the son of 
the late Frank and Mary WOOD.
     He is survived by:
one sister, Mrs. Arlie BRUINGTON of Harned, Ky
one brother, Atlee WOOD of Hardinsburg, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Sunday (November 7, 1982) from Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Garfield, Ky.  Burial was in the church cemetery 
with Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions:  Turn North 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
