OBITUARY
     Mrs. Gertrude WOODS, age 49, died at her home in Hardinsburg, Route 1, on 
Thursday, February 15, 1968.  Mrs. WOODS was born in Texas.  She is survived 
by:
her husband, Benjamin WODS
two daughters:
Mrs. Gertrude Lou RHODES of Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Miss Nellie Bernice WOODS, in the home
three sons:
Charles WOODS, U.S. Army, Vietnam
Samuel B. WOODS, in the home
W. C. WOODS (William), in the home
five brothers:
R. B. LAWLESS of Bethelridge, Ky (Casey County)
Orus LAWLESS of Moresville, Indiana (Morgan County)
Alton LAWLESS of Illinois
Silas LAWLESS of Dawson Springs, Ky (Hopkins & Caldwell Counties)
Alfred LAWLESS of Dawson Springs, Ky 
one sister:
Mrs. Elgie BROWN of Liberty, Ky (Casey County)
     The body was brought to Dhonau Funeral Home, and on the arrival of 
Charles WOODS from Vietnam, the funeral will be held at the New Bethel Baptist 
Church, and burial in the church Cemetery.

Ben Talbert Woods and his wife, Mrs. Gertrude LAWLESS WOODS have a tombstone.

I believe his parents are: Benjamin T. WOODS & Mary Elizabeth STAPLES.
I found Ben's birthdate on the Social Security Death Index on Ancestry.com

I believe she is his second wife; see Gertrude's obituary I have posted on this 
archives site:

I do not know the name of Ben Talbert WOODS previous wife/wives.  He had children by

at least two wives.
