OBITUARY

MR. VERNON WOODS DIED AT
THE HOME OF HIS PARENTS
LAST TUESDAY

Custer -- Mr. Vernon WOODS died Tuesday morning, March 21, of tuberculosis, at 
the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. June WOODS.
     He leaves a wife, three children, his parents, one sister, and one brother 
to mourn their loss.  His remains were laid to rest in the Dowell graveyard, 
near his father-in-law, Mr. Mose BENNETT.

"Farewell dear father and husband
Tis hard to give thee up
Altho we know it is God's will
And we drink the bitter cup"

Sadie M. is listed as age 8, born in July 1891. Age 17 in 1910.)

married #2- Lawrence HOLMES   no children
married on March 2, 1929 in Indiana  divorced
daughter of Moses BENNETT & James Alsavene/Alsavere "Alsie" DOWELL
have her death certificate
she is buried at South Jefferson Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
