OBITUARY

RUTH THOMAS WRIGHT  1924-2013
     Ruth Thomas "Tommie" WRIGHT, age 88, of Irvington, Ky., in Breckinridge 
County, died on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Helmwood Health Care in 
Elizabethtown, Ky
     She was born in Hudson, Ky., on December 16, 1924, a daughter of the late 
Noah and Gola LUCAS PAUL.  She was a member of Constantine United Methodist 
Church and Eastern Star.  She and her husband, Ova Lee, owned and operated a 
grocery store in Constantine, and later she was a pharmacy technician for Parks 
Pharmacy in Irvington.
     She enjoyed quilting, reading, cooking, and crossword puzzles, but was 
happiest being a mother of four sons.
She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Ova Lee WRIGHT, Jr.
a sister, Glennie SHARP
two brothers, Odie PAUL and Edward PAUL

She is survived by:
four sons
5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren
one sister:
Beulah BLAIR of Hardinsburg, Ky
one brother:
Pierman PAUL of Harned, Ky
     Funeral services were held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, on 
Monday, September 30, 2013.  Burial in the Hudson Cemetery.
