He died of Influenza and pneumonia. His wife, to whom he had been married for 52 years, was buried just one week before, having also died of pneumonia. The aged couple is survived by: six sons: William YOUNG of Petit, Ky (Pettit, Daviess County) Adam YOUNG of Panther, Ky Henry YOUNG of Panther, Ky John YOUNG of Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County) W.R. YOUNG of Pocatella, Idaho (Bannock County) Alvey YOUNG of Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County) W.E. YOUNG, an Evangelistic singer of Wichita Falls, Texas (Wichita County), who recently assisted in an Evangelistic Campaign at the Third Baptist Church in Owensboro, Ky is a grandson, and Misses Winnie CLAY and Anna Rae YOUNG of Hardinsburg are granddaughters of Mr. & Mrs. YOUNG. Additional Comments: The Bushy Fork Baptist Church and Cemetery is located at Utica, in the southern section of Daviess County, Ky Jake YOUNG was married to Mary Emily SHORT YOUNG, who died January 11, 1929 in the Panther Voting Precinct in Daviess County.
