This certificate was proved to Mrs. J. H. Harned and reads as such:

CHURCH CERTIFICATE

The bearer hereof Mrs. J. H. Harned has been an acceptable member of the 
Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in Walnut Street Station, Louisville 
District; Louisville Conference, Louisville, Kentucky on July 6, 1899.

This certificate shall not be valid longer than twelve months past the date, 
unless the holder shows good cause why it was not sooner presented.
