Minutes from the Year 1877

At a meeting of the Stewards of Big Spring Circuit held at Parsonage, at Big 
Spring Oct. 18 1877, the following brethren were present -
Achilles M Stith    Wm B. Nough,  Wm H. Kain, John N Clarkson, Thos J. Stith 
Jr.  After prayer by Brother Ames the object of the meeting was stated to be to 
fix salary for preacher in charge for opening conference year.  The following 
apportionments were made:

Big Spring                             150
Bewleyville                            225
Howells                                 120
May's Grove                           90
Liberty                                    35
