This picture was in my G-Grandmother's pictures.  It is a tin type of James W. 
Jared, older brother of Letitia Jared Lynch Albright Blissit.  James is the son 
of Mayson and Polly Dowell Jared, and was born 4/12/1835 in Clifton Mills, 
Breckinridge County, Kentucky.  He married Mary Ann Durbin on 4/25/1870 anda 
they had four children.  James served with the Union's 48th Kentucky Mounted 
Infantry with his cousins, Samuel Jarrett and John Jarrett, and his brother in 
law, Thomas Lynch.

James died 2/15/1908 and is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Irvington beside his 
wife.
