Thomas Lynch

Born: 12/15/1836; Warrick County, Indiana
Married: 1/10/1865; Perry County, Indiana to Miss Letitia Jared (d/o Mayson and 
Polly Dowell Jared)
Died: 3/2/1869; Clifton Mills, Breckinridge County, Kentucky

Died of tuberculosis possibly contracted during the Battle of Nashville in the 
Civil War.

Thomas served as a private in the 3rd Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, Company K 
until he was commissioned an officer (2nd Lieutenant) with the newly organized 
48th Kentucky Mounted Infantry, Company K.  He mustered out of the Army in 
Dec., 1864.
