Valetine Fentress

Born November 10, 1800.  Died March 13, 1886.  

Inscription 1:  At the top it has an engraving like a book, and beneath it says “Holy Bible.”  Engraved on the pages of the Bible, it says “Blessed are the dead who died in the Lord.”  

Inscription 2:  “Kind angels watch his sleeping dust ‘til Jesus comes to raise the just, then may he wake with sweet surprise, and in his Saviour’s wings arise.”
