Additional Comments:
Jesse is the brother of my g-grandmother, Mary Knott Bruner.  Jesse Wadson 
Knott was one of three children (Laura and Mary, being his two older sisters) 
born to Rev. Raphael/Ralph and Sarah Elizabeth Haynes Knott.  When Sarah died, 
Ralph remarried to a Mary Davis.  Ralph is buried at Howe Valley UMC Cemetery.  
Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" is believed buried at the Chalkie Cemetery with her 
parents and several of her siblings and their families.  Jesse's sister Laura 
married twice; she is buried next to her second husband (Harrison Bewley) at 
Big Spring UMC Cemetery.  Jesse's sister Mary married William Henry 
Harrison "Harry" Bruner; she is buried with Harry at the Custer UMC Cemetery.

Jesse married Nancy Francis Wood.  They had two children, Hayden D. and Mary 
Catherine.  Hayden and his wife Margaret are buried at the Horsley Cemetery #1; 
Mary Catherine is known to have married a Raymond Carman, but no other 
information on them has been found to date.
