Additional Comments:
Rather a sad story about this family.  Cora married Ernest H. Thornhill 7 Jun 
1914.  Ernest was a street car conductor before becoming a Louisville police 
officer 4 Mar 1918.  He contracted the flu in November and then his pregnant 
wife and 2 of their children caught it.  She gave birth on November 29 but the 
baby, Evelyn, died the next day as did Ernest.  Cora then died December 1. All 
three were buried in the Allen Cemetery, Breckinridge Co., KY.  Their remaining 
children were raised by their grandparents, James Allen and Rebecca Basham 
Allen.
