Francis Marion ("Frank") Basham was born on 9 March 1846 in Breckinridge 
County, Kentucky, to Francis ("Frank") Basham and Thursia Hardin.  On 20 
September 1870, Francis Marion Basham married Martha Jane ("Mattie") Stiff, in 
Meade County, Kentucky.  Martha Jane Stiff was the daughter of Nathaniel Stiff 
and Elizabeth Ann Robertson.  Frank Basham and Mattie Stiff had three 
daughters -- Annie Mack Basham, Kittie M. Basham and Eddie Lena Basham.  The 
individual identified as the informant on the death certificate, Annie Keys, is 
likely their daughter Annie Mack Basham, who had married Andrew Jackson Keys, 
Jr.  Francis Marion Basham is buried at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Lodiburg, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.
