Additional Comments:
George Rowland (or Roland) Watlington was born on 2 November 1859, in 
Breckinridge County, Kentucky, to Nathaniel Reed Watlington and Judith Tolliver 
Cox.  He married Elizabeth M. ("Lizzie") Cox on 9 May 1894, at the residence of 
the bride's sister in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.  The couple had 
at least 3 children.  I am aware of only one who lived to adulthood -- Laura 
Hugh Watlington (who married Coleman West).  Rowland is buried in the New Ivy 
Hill Cemetery in Hardinsburg, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.  The individual 
identified as the informant in the death certificate, James Watlington, is 
likely Rowland's brother James.
