Cast metal sign posted at entrance reads: "Archibald Magruder, Pvt, 4th Militia of Maryland, Subscribing to the Patriots oath in 1778, the Kentucky Society of the Sons of the American Revolution officially marked his grave in this cemetary July 1946" Verlinder Magruder - Wife of Archibald Magruder - b. 9 June 1806 d. 9 July 1884 Archibald Son of A & V Magruder - d. 8 October 1855 Ezekiel E. Magruder Son of A & V - b. 9 July 1844 d. 27 March 1863 Henry O. Magruder - b. 8 February 1840 d. 8 April 1864 Sarah E Magruder - d. 24 July 1849, age 18 Archibald Magruder - d. 2 October 1849, age 50 yrs Inscription: "He was a dutiful child, an affectionate brother, a tender father, an obliging neighbour, a good master, a loving companion" Sarah M.
