KY Circuit Court Deed Book A p. 121 Whereas at a Circuit Court held for the Bullitt Circuit at the Court house in Shepherdsville on the 25 day of August 1827 in the cases of Chancery of John GENTRY against Martin GENTRY and others and Martin GENTRY against John GENTRY and others which Cases were Consolidated the following Decree was entered towit. This Cause came on final hearing from the Bills, Answers, Depositions and Exhibits filed and the Court being now advised are of Opinion that the Bond of Martin GENTRY Sr. for 50 acres in the Complts. Bill mentioned never was delivered to SCOTT and that the Complt. by the assignment of SCOTT acquired on interest and as the Court is of the Opinion that the Conduct of the Complt. in Obtaining said Bond and procurring the assignment was fraudulent they therefore Decree that the Complt. John GENTRYs Bill be dismissed and that the Defts. recover their Costs against him. It is further decreed that John GENTRY, Wyatt GENTRY, David PARRIS and Elizabeth his wife PARRIS by Deed Deed of release Convey to the Complainant Martin GENTRY all their interest in the Land and real Estate of Martin GENTRY deceased and it further Ordered that MERRIWETHER and the heirs of Samuel N. LUCKETT and the heirs of BARNLEY whose names are unknown Convey by Deed to the heirs of Martin GENTRY deceased Except the interest of John and Wyatt GENTRY and David PARRIS & Wife whose part is to be conveyed to Martin GENTRY as the purchaser of the interest of those three heirs which Conveyances are to be made by the 5th day of the present Term and if not made George F. POPE is appointed Commissioner to Execute on behalf of the respective persons Deeds of Conveyance for the lands aforesaid and the said William MERREWETHER and the heirs of Samuel N. LUCKETT dec’d and the heirs of John BARNLEY/BURNLEY dec’d whose names are unknown having failed to Convey the land in the Bills mentioned on or before the said Sixth day of the said August Term on the application of the said Martin GENTRY. This Indenture therefore made this 18 February 1828 Between the said George F. POPE, Commissioner of the one part and Martin GENTRY, John C. WHEELER and Nancy his wife, Robert WHEELER and Sally his wife, Peter SCOTT, Martin SCOTT, Samuel SCOTT, Joseph SCOTT, Jeptha SCOTT and Macey/Macoy SCOTT of the other part, Witnesseth that the said POPE on behalf of William MERRIWETHER, Thurston LUCKETT, Alfred LUCKETT, Philip LUCKETT, Catherine LUCKETT and Elizabeth LUCKETT, heirs of Samuel N. LUCKETT Dec’d and the Heirs unknown of the said John BURNLEY dec’d for and in consideration of the said Decree have granted and conveyed the following tract of land Situate lying and being in Bullitt County and State of Kentucky containing one hundred and fifty acres lying on Floyds Fork and another tract of one hundred and fifty acres on Wales run bordering the original line to the division line between John DUNN, MERRIWETHER and LUCKETT thence Eastwardly...
