Nelson Co. District of KY Court Order Book - 23 Nov 1785

John LARUE, Isaac DYE, Joseph KIRKPATRICK, Conrad WALTERS or any three to decide the best 
way to build a road from the mouth of the Beech Fork to Severns Valley and on to VANMETERS 
Mill

Francis PEARPOINT appointed surveyor of the road to PEARPONT's Mill thence to the Mouth of 
the Beech Fork and on to Dr. SMITH's Station assisted by the tithables in that district on the south branches of the Rolling Fork from the mouth of Clear Creek to the Yellow Banks... 
from the road from GOODWIN'S to the Salt Works to the Mouth of Clear Creek.

Jeremiah GRAY assee of John CUNNINGHAM vs. Jacob WILLIAMS - Judgement for plaintiff 4 pounds 
10 shillings and costs.

John E. KING vs. Wm. KELLY and Abraham UNCELL - Debt.  Jacob YODER appears as surety for 
defts.

Adam SHEPHERD vs. Thomas CUNNINGHAM - Deft. acknowledges debt of 4 pounds interest since 1 
Nov thus judgment entered accordingly with interest until paid and costs

Burditt CLIFTON vs. Thomas CLARK & Thomas CUNNINGHAM - Debt.  William McCLUNG appearing as 
plaintiff's attorney but the defendants did not appear.  Judgement for plaintiff against 
Thomas CUNNINGHAM and John CUNNINGHAM his bail unless they appear next court.  Also an 
attachment is entered against the estate of Thomas CLARK.

William KENDALL assne. of J HAMILTON  vs. Edmond QUIRK (or QUICK?) Debt.  Defendant not 
appearing judgment is entered against him and Thomas CUNNINGHAM, his bail, unless he appears 
next court.

Joseph SEVERN vs. Baldwin CLIFTON - trespass

Thomas McINTIRE vs. George MAYFIELD - Trespass -  Abates

John Edward KING vs. Thomas WILLIAMS - Debt.  Parties appearing with Eli ADAMS defendants 
surety - continuance.

John E. KING v. William KELLY and Abraham UNCELL - Debt

Peter CATLET vs. Thomas CUNNINGHAM - Debt

Thomas CUNNINGHAM vs. Isaac YATES - Slander.  Defendant not appearing the judgement will be 
entered against him unless he appears next court.

Isaac MORRISON & Co. vs. William LASE, Hugh CONWAY and Thomas MERRYFIELD - In Case.  
Defendants not appearing, judgement is entered against them unless they appear at the next 
court session.
