WILMOUTH complainent of John B. GREENWELL in custody in a pleas of _______ assault & battery for this towit that whereas on the day of in the year in the court the said GREENWELL did then & there willfully & grievously with _________ Towit with ____ clubs ____ feet & fists commit? an assualt & battery ____ the body of the said WILMOUTH ________________-- to the said WILMOUTH whereof his life was really dispaired of________ and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky & to the ________ of the said WILMOUTH--------------------------------------------------------------- And whereas _______-in the Circuit ____ GREENWELL did ______ his further malice ( ill will towards the sd WILMOUTH (Attached is) The Commonwealth of Kentucky, to the Sheriff of Nelson County, Greetings: We command you to summon William Brown, George WILMOUTH, Margaret RIBBLE, Catherine RIBBLE, Levi CARRICO & Basil CARRICO to appear before the judges of our Nelson Circuit Court at the court-house in Bairdtown, on the 5th day of our June term next to testify and the truth to lay in behalf of John B. WILMOUTH cmplt and John B. GREENWELL Deft and this they shall in no wit omit under the penelty of L100. and have then there writ.
