Witnesseth that the said Cornelius BOGARD Sr. for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid hath granted bargained and sold all that tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the waters of Salt River ... Beginning at a white oak in the road leading from Shepherdsville to the Mt. Washington running thence S 15 degrees W 202 poles to RIDGEWAY's corner thence S76 degrees E 114 poles to a large Ash in Clifton BOGARD's .... Containing Seventy five acres be the same more or less.
