BELL - Willard BELL and Annie BELL his wife, Warcur(?) BELL and Florence BELL, his wife, James BELL and Minnie BELL, his wife, Kate SCOTT and James SCOTT her husband, Clara MELTON and Thos. MELTON her husband, children and heirs of Elizabeth C. BELL, deceased, all of Bullitt County, Kentucky, parties of the first part and Erastus BELL, of Bullitt County, Kentucky, party of the second part; Witnesseth: That the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred ($800) Dollars, cash in hand paid to the parties of the first part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and hereby sell and convey unto the party of the second part her heirs and assigns the following described real estate lying and being in Bullitt County, Kentucky and bounded as follows, viz: First tract, all the right, title, and interest of the first parties in and to the following described tract of land, all that part of said tract that lies on the north side of the county road, said tract is described as follows: Beginning at a birch stump and ______ on the bank of Floyds Fork, thence S13 E46 poles to a stake in the County road, thence S8 E40 poles to a stake at the mouth of a branch on Floyds Fork thence N71 E 44 1/2 poles to 4 beeches, thence N32 E12 poles to 2 white walnuts and small elm thence S64 E46 poles to a stone, thence N2 E98 poles to an elm on the bank of Floyds Fork thence down the Fork to the beginning, containing 50 acres, but the part herein conveyed is all that portion of said tract on the north side of the County road and supposed to contain 35 acres more or less being a part of the same land conveyed to Elizabeth C. Bell by William Bell and by deed dated April 29th 1887 and recorded in Deed Book No. 26 Page 299, Bullitt County Clerks Office. Second tract-all the right and interest of the parties of the first part in and to see that part of the following tract of land that lies on the north side of the county road and between the said road and Floyds Fork and which tract is described as follows: Beginning at one elm and two beeches on the bank of Floyds Fork, thence S15 E43 poles 20 links to a stone in the center of the road and the School House lot, thence S88 30' W27 poles 17 links to a stone in said road, thence S65 1/2 W19 poles 20 links to a stone in said road, thence S63 W 69 poles 3 links to a stone in the road thence S69 1/2 W9 poles to a stone in said road, and on the east side of a spring branch thence S6 1/2 W10 poles 3 links to a small poplar, thence S17 E22 3/4 poles to an elm, one pole above the mouth of said branch on the bank of Floyds Fork, thence up said Fork at low water mark ______ poles to a stake, thence leaving said Fork N62 E16 2/3 poles to a stake S74 E11 poles to a stake in said road, thence S84 3/4 E30 poles to a stake in said road, thence N13 3/4 E44 poles to a sugar tree, thence N20 3/4 W11 1/2 poles to a stake on the bank of Floyds Fork opposite a sycamore marked for corner thence up Floyds Fork with its meanders to the beginning, the part of said tract herein conveyed is all of that part that lies on the north side of the county road and supposed to be about 30 acres more or less, and being a part of the same land, conveyed to Elizabeth C. BELL by Chas BELL'S heirs by deed dated April 3rd 1877 and recorded in Deed Book "V" pages 385-386 Bullitt County Court Clerk Office, the parties of the first part being children and heirs of Elizabeth C. BELL, deceased, and derived their title by inheritence from their mother Elizabeth C. BELL, To Have and To Hold the said land together with all the appurtuances thereunto belonging unto the second party her heirs and assigns forever with convenant of General Warranty, In Testimony whereof witness our hands the the day and date first above written G.N. BELL'S hrs to Erastus BELL was produced to me in my office and acknowledged and delivered before me by G.N. BELL, Williard BELL and Annie BELL his wife, Warur(?) BELL and Florence BELL his wife, Katie SCOTT and James SCOTT her husband, Clara MELTON and J.T. MELTON her husband, parties thereto to be their act and deed, and on the 11th day of August, 1908, it was lodged in my office for record, which with this and the foregoing certificate I have truly recorded in my office this the 12th day of August, 1908.
