GRANT, party of the second part, - WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($450.00) paid and to be paid as follows: One note of this date for $112.50 due and payable in one year from this date - One note for the sum of $112.50 due and payable in two years from this date - One note for the sum of $112.50 due and payable in three years from this date and one note for the sum of $112.50 due and payable in four years from this date - all notes due and payable to Erastus BELL and each note drawing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum from date until paid and to secure the payment of said note and all interest a lien is hereby retained upon the within described property - it is agreed and understood that in case any one note becomes due and remains unpaid for a period of thirty days then the whole amount becomes due and the lien retained herein may be enforced - the interest on each and every note is due and payable annually - the parties of the first part have this day bargained and sold and by these presents doth hereby convey unto the said party of the second part, the following described real estate, lying and being in Bullitt County, Kentucky, and bounded as follows: All that part of said tract that lies on the North side of the County road - said tract is described as follows: Beginning at a beech stump and elm on the bank of Floyds Fork-thence S13 E46 poles to a stake in the County road-thence S5 E40 poles to a stake at the mouth of a branch on Floyds Fork-thence N71 E44 1/2 poles to four beeches-thence N32 E2 poles to two white walnuts and small elm-thence S64 E46 poles to a stone-thence N2 E96 poles to an elm on the bank of Floyds Fork-thence down the Fork to the beginning - containing 50 acres-but the part herein conveyed is all that portion of said tract on the North side of the County road and supposed to contain 35 acres more or less. There is also granted and conveyed to the party of the second part a road or passway 12 feet wide over the lands of the parties of the first part from their upper bottom to the old road and thence out to the Bell's Mill County road. This being the same property conveyed to the said Erastus BELL by the heirs of E.C. BELL-by deed dated 3rd August 1908 and recorded in Deed Book No. 40, pg. 200-Bullitt County Court Clerks Office. To have and to hold the above described real estate with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever with convenant of General Warranty.
