KY Deed Book B p. 343 Jacob BOWMAN and Nelly his wife of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky to George BOWMAN of the County of Garrard and State aforesaid. For and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to them in hand paid hath granted, bargained and sold unto the s'd George a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Garrard and on the Kentucky River part of a survey made in the name of Hite Bowman and as follows. Beginning at two beech trees a corner to Wm. TRACY thence with him north two degrees East one hundred and ninety four poles to two ash saplings on the Clifts of Kentucky thence up the river with its several meanders including a bend thereof so far as the patent line may extend to sugar tree on the river corner to Wm. McQUIL (?) thence with McQUIL (McQUE?) North forty degrees west two hundred and Sixty two poles a beech tree standing in George TRACY's line thence with said line north forty three degrees East eighty one poles to large mulberry another corner of Wm.
